TheraXPro Cookie Policy
Effective date: October 13, 2026
1. Who we are and what this policy covers
TheraXPro, Inc. ("TheraXPro," "we," "us," or "our") is a Georgia nonprofit organization recognized as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3). This Cookie Policy explains how cookies and similar technologies are used on our public website, signed-in tools, and shared program pages (the "Platform"). Different parts of the Platform may use different technologies and controls.
Read this policy together with our Privacy Policy, which explains personal-information collection, use, disclosure, retention, and privacy requests. Independent services have their own notices.
2. Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. First-party cookies are associated with the website you visit; third-party cookies are associated with another provider. Session cookies generally expire when a browsing session ends. Persistent cookies remain until they expire or are deleted.
Local storage and session storage save information in your browser and operate differently from cookies. Tracking pixels and tracked links can report page access or email engagement. Server logs may record visits without storing a cookie. These technologies can process personal information, including online identifiers, IP addresses, device information, timestamps, and activity; they are not necessarily anonymous.
3. Why we use these technologies
- Essential functions and security: operating the Platform, maintaining authenticated sessions, protecting against unauthorized activity, and remembering privacy choices.
- Preferences and functionality: remembering available settings and supporting features such as embedded media. Whether a particular technology is essential depends on its actual purpose.
- Analytics: understanding visits, traffic sources, and use of our public website through Squarespace Analytics.
- Email engagement: measuring delivery, opens, clicks, and unsubscribe activity for promotional email campaigns, as explained in Section 5.
We do not sell personal information or disclose it for cross-context behavioral or targeted advertising. Links to equipment, videos, or other external resources may lead to independent services with their own practices.
4. Squarespace website analytics and cookie choices
Our public website uses Squarespace Analytics, including activity logging, to understand website visits and use. Depending on your choices and the applicable settings, analytics may process browser and device information, online identifiers, IP addresses, referring pages, visited pages, and timestamps.
The public website cookie banner offers Accept and Decline choices. Non-essential cookies are configured as restricted pending the relevant choice. Declining limits the non-essential cookies controlled by that setting; it does not necessarily stop essential processing, ordinary server logs, or every third-party technology.
Squarespace's banner controls do not necessarily apply to the signed-in application, external websites, email tracking, or all embedded or custom content. Where applicable law requires consent, a particular integration must be configured to respect that requirement; the presence of a banner alone does not establish this.
For provider information, see Squarespace's Privacy Policy and its explanation of website cookies.
5. Email tracking and messaging records
We use Squarespace Email Campaigns for promotional emails. These campaigns measure opens and link clicks, along with delivery and unsubscribe information. Tracking pixels and tracked links can associate engagement with a recipient's email address. Open and click reports are approximate because mail-provider privacy tools and automated scanning can affect them.
Website cookie choices do not necessarily control email tracking. To stop future promotional emails, use the unsubscribe link. Your mail application may also offer controls for remote images or tracking protection, although these do not necessarily prevent tracked-link processing. Necessary account, billing, security, and service emails may continue where permitted.
Twilio services process SMS and email delivery information and related operational reporting. This may include recipient contacts, messages or links, timestamps, and delivery events. These records are separate from website cookies and are described in the Privacy Policy. Other email engagement tracking, where enabled, depends on the delivery service and message settings.
6. Embedded content, payments, and external services
Videos, payment interfaces, and other third-party features may receive technical information and use cookies or similar technologies when loaded or used. Following an external link takes you to a service whose own privacy and cookie practices apply.
Stripe processes subscription payments and may use technologies for checkout functionality, security, fraud prevention, and services you choose. See Stripe's Privacy Policy. Video providers and other services supply their own notices and controls. A choice on TheraXPro does not necessarily carry over to those services.
Do not enter patient-identifying information or PHI into program content, URLs, analytics inputs, or other prohibited fields. Cookie controls do not make shared links confidential or establish HIPAA compliance. See the Privacy Policy and Site Agreement for permitted use.
7. Managing your choices
- Website banner: select Decline to reject the non-essential cookies controlled by our public website banner, or Accept to permit them.
- Changing a choice: use any cookie preference controls offered on the relevant page. If a control to reopen the banner is unavailable, clear this site's cookies and site data in your browser, then revisit to make a new choice. This may sign you out or reset preferences.
- Browser settings: consult your browser's privacy settings to block or delete cookies and manage site storage. Some browsers provide separate controls for third-party cookies.
- External services: use the provider's own privacy controls for activity on that service.
- Email: unsubscribe from promotional messages and review your mail application's tracking controls.
Blocking essential technologies may affect login, security, payment, or other features. Browser settings may need to be applied separately on each browser or device. Rejecting or deleting cookies does not necessarily delete previously collected information, cancel a subscription, or delete an account.
Where applicable law requires us to honor a browser-based opt-out preference signal, such as Global Privacy Control, we will comply with that requirement. Such signals should not be assumed to disable every technology. Contact us about available choices or privacy requests.
8. Duration and retention
Technology lifetimes vary by purpose, provider, configuration, and browser. Some browser storage remains until it expires or you clear it. Information generated by cookies, analytics, email tracking, or delivery events may be retained separately from the browser technology that generated it.
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy, including providing services, maintaining security, honoring communication choices, and meeting applicable legal obligations. This policy does not set a fixed account-deletion timeline. Clearing browser data does not necessarily remove provider records or server logs.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our technologies, practices, or legal requirements change. We will identify the effective date of an approved update and provide additional notice or obtain consent where required by applicable law.
